Marie Davidheiser, current Managing Director of Iris New York, has been promoted to CEO, North America as it looks to supercharge its growth in the U.S. The news follows the first rebrand in the creative network’s 18-year history, the business growing 13% and predicting it will generate £100m+ worth of revenue globally for the first time in 2018.
In the U.S, Iris has brought new clients into the fold in 2017 including Ducati, Moët & Hennessy, LinkedIn, and Casper, while at the same time growing existing clients such as Abbott, IHG, UTC, and Samsung across the Americas.
Marie’s new remit will be focused on unlocking growth opportunities in existing clients, and growing the success and value of the Iris brand in North America and Canada, where the network has an office through the acquisition of pricing specialist Pricing Solutions.
In addition to the promotion, Marie will take a position on Iris’ global exec board alongside co-founders Steve Bell, Ian Millner and Claire Humphris, CCO Shaun McIlrath and Exec Planning Director Ben Essen.
In the U.S the multi-specialist network brings together expertise in content, brand experience, B2B, brand strategy and creative communications – in addition to having business consultancy, pricing strategy and CRM capabilities provided by Iris Concise to impact on marketing performance and profit optimization. In 2018, Iris plans to up-weight its skills in content, CRM and pricing strategy further.
Ian Millner, Co-founder and CEO: “The US is the biggest and toughest opportunity we have. Over the last few years, through a combination of organic growth, start-ups and acquisitions we have built a really interesting range of skills in North America. We now want to fully leverage these skills around clients so that they can get the full benefit of strategic and creativity diversity and also, so that we can build a much more distinctive and resonant brand in the US market. The market is increasingly moving in our favour and I think that Marie will be the perfect leader to help unlock this potential.”
Marie Davidheiser, CEO North America: “My goal is to build on the recent global success and do so within the U.S. - the biggest advertising market in the world. Clients are buying our specialist propositions and the opportunity has never been greater for the type of ‘For the forward’ thinking that Iris brings to the table. The opportunity is to take what we’re currently doing and make it add up to more, making it easier for clients to understand how Iris can help build more meaningful relationships between their customers.”
