We found three real families who, due to a variety of misfortunes, have never travelled overseas or never been on holiday. We followed their heartwarming and transformational journeys as they venture from their homes to our home and are taken care of by Fiji Airways. Not only did we reward deserving people but we brought families back together, we united lost relatives and we gave people peace of mind.
We also managed to capture a candid interview with world Champion surfer, Kelly Slater. He shared with us his story of discovering Fiji as his home away from home. For the past 24 years Kelly has been coming to Fiji each year, and staying with the same Fijian family on Tavarua Island. He was only too happy to share his experience of the unique and brilliant Fijian people and culture.
