Fuelled by negative press, Samsung were having a difficult task recalling all their faulty top loading washing machines. When recalls stalled, we were called in to help raise awareness and locate the missing machines. Using highly targeted data, we distilled geographical and customer segmentation insights from machines already recovered then mapped geographical “hot spots” across the country where machines were most likely to be found.
We then created Samsung’s first and only branded washing detergent – Urgent Recall – with information on how to identify your faulty machine and what to do next, all contained within the packaging itself. Delivering vital information at the moment it was needed most.
